Finding a New Awareness Through Curiosity
It’s the only way to find solutions to our problems
It takes learning about awareness on an intellectual level, first.
But the real shift happens when we consciously make the choice each time to move our awareness inward (into curiosity), instead of outward (into projections); that’s when our entire world changes.
We begin to welcome problems that we thought we would never be able to solve with fluidity and ease.
This is my humble experience.
A child who I once thought I was incapable of mothering, and a role I once thought I was unable to fulfil, became the mission of my life: to help families confidently and courageously invite conscious choice and curiosity into their lives so that they can co-create and co-exist in the freedom-filled realities they each desire.
Having this awareness to look inward defines how we think and act in every moment. It defines what the next moment looks like, and the next five moments after that.

We can no longer dwell on the outward projections.
But it’s not really about whether you believe me right now.
It’s about whether you’re curious enough to see what the new experience of life could feel like for you when you do begin to look inward in the midst of another emotional reaction.
You may ask yourself questions like…
What action did I take, that might have made him/her feel like pushing the baby?
Who am I being, that he/she doesn’t feel the need to remember?
What might I have done that made him/her feel the need to lie?
What does this mean about how I hoard my things?
When do I play unfair?
What might I be doing that he/she is having a meltdown?
It’s a steep learning curve with bumps, falls, and scars. You’ll move two steps forward and one step back. In the beginning you’ll find yourself in the same position repeatedly. You’ll hit confusion and it will feel like a roadblock. But that one step forward will keep you engaged and wanting to keep questioning and looking.
I assure you, you’re heading in the right direction. The only way to solve these problems that repeatedly arise beyond what you physically see, is to find clarity through curiosity.
The questioning will lead to solutions. These solutions will be your TRUTH. This is your awakening.
It’s threatening and scary at first. It will feel like you’re entering an unknown space. Some days the risk will feel too big to take. Having compassion for yourself on those days is a must.
On other days, you’ll know it’s the only way, and you’ll fight for that connection with your child.
Remember, it’s a process. One that is deeply liberating.
It takes tremendous discipline.
