When I began to study Conscious Parenting, I didn\u2019t have an intention of becoming a coach.\u00a0 I only set out to seek answers to my own emotions and pain.<\/span><\/p>\n Five years later, I became a Certified Coach from Dr. Shefali\u2019s Coaching Institute.<\/span><\/p>\n The impact this work made on the way I now live my life inspired me to serve other moms so that they, too, could experience improved relationships and communication with this transformative approach.<\/span><\/p>\n [\/et_pb_text][et_pb_image src=”http:\/\/jilnajasani.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/09\/pexels-tirachard-kumtanom-601170-scaled.jpg” _builder_version=”4.4.2″][\/et_pb_image][et_pb_text _builder_version=”4.4.2″ text_font_size=”19px”]<\/p>\n But first and foremost, I\u2019m a parent just like you<\/b>, who has discovered that if we don\u2019t understand ourselves, our children won\u2019t be able to, either.<\/p>\n I\u2019ve done an immense amount of self-study to understand who I am.\u00a0 I\u2019ve developed a strong capacity to be curious about conflict and pain. And I\u2019ve practiced a thought process that helps me apply inquiry and compassion in order to thrive amidst life\u2019s challenges.<\/p>\n I\u2019m so grateful for this.<\/p>\n I’m grateful for your trust in me to help you understand who you are.<\/p>\n Not many have the confidence and courage to invest in themselves. They’re unable to see it as the highest form of self-care, and it’s a shame. It\u2019s hard because it requires moment-to-moment practice without any immediate reward. We overestimate the value of what we have, and underestimate the value of what we may be giving up.<\/p>\n It\u2019s hard to measure change, especially behavioral change. As we shift our thought patterns, we may notice micro changes within ourselves, because we realize how much we\u2019re leaning into experiences that we once found challenging.<\/p>\n In the beginning, it’s common for others not to notice these subtle changes within us. But that\u2019s because ultimate change manifests when there is a great tipping point.<\/p>\n There will be days where you take 3 steps backwards before taking 2 more forward. This is the way of change. When you show up, consistently and completely detached from needing to control when you\u2019ll improve, you\u2019ll change.<\/p>\n When you practice change from moment to moment, hour to hour, day to day, week to week, month to month, one day you’ll wake up and people around you will realize you are a completely different human being.<\/p>\n The only thing driving that change was your will to experience life in a different way.<\/p>\n So support yourself with the change you desire for yourself. Whether it\u2019s through coaching, doing a course, or engaging in a community of like-minded people, be a part of something that wants what you want.
